You are absolutely right. First of all we have to curse ourselves, before others. In this case we have two different views relate to this issue.
1-At the Northwestern border, when Cambodian people cross the Thai border to steal the valuable tree or sometime they just look for a job but usually get killed by Thai forces. It’s confirming that Thai government leaders and forces are nationalists that has higher national conscience and stronger than our leaders.
2-At the Southeastern border, when Cambodian people try to cross to the Vietnamese land it’s not easy or free and we have to have passport and visa or any identification card (ID). When Vietnamese people come to Cambodia, it’s easy and sometime is free. I do not know why. Perhaps Mr. $$$…
I heard many times that Vietnamese steals our tree and bring back to their country safely. Sometime Khmer forces at the border made a business with Vietnamese thieves. It’s confirming that our leaders and authorities are weak, selfish, corrupt and dishonest to the nation and Cambodian people.
I never and will never trust Decho Sen like some Srey Khmer…
